Yes, these are part of the American Heart Institute's ECC- Emergency Cardiovascular Care Courses. The courses material is authentic and comes from the AHA. The training is of international standards, according to the AHA guidelines and the instructors are AHA certified. We have strict norms of passing and certifying trainees.
Just because you have paid for a course, does not automatically translate into passing it, unless you have achieved the required level of competence. If you fail the course, you will be given ample opportunity to improve your performance and pass it (remediation).
The BLS/ACLS courses are knowledge as well as skill based. Studies have shown that unless updated regularly, both tend to degenerate. It is therefore important to recertify every two years.
No, there is no book you need to read. However, once you have registered by paying for the course, CIRI will send you authentic course material from the AHA that has to be read well in advance so as to prepare you for passing the course successfully.
Still have questions? Please contact us.We look forward to hearing from you.
