Every junior doctor who is involved in patient management at any point of patient care should be BLS/ACLS trained.
FOR FRESH GRADUATES (MBBS, BAMS, BHMS)
These courses will enhance your CV and make a favourable difference when applying for posts in corporate hospitals. It will increase your confidence in actual patient care.
FOR RESIDENTS, SENIOR RMOs
All resident doctors should be able to perform effective CPR and use ACLS principles when faced with peri arrest situations, irrespective of which clinical branch they are being trained in. Our CME courses are practical and teach basic principles.
For RMOs already in corporate sector, the courses will be part of your CME (Continuing Medical education) activity, and will be looked upon favourably by your organization and you should meet your HR department to apply for study leave for the same.
With the advent of quality control in the medical industry, these courses will be mandatory for all doctors in due course of time. Many hospitals are now applying for ISO/ NABH /JCI accreditation and it is mandatory for junior doctors to be so trained for successful certification.
FUTURE: NEW NAGPUR
With the economic progression of the city due to the well known MIHAN project, Nagpur in a few years is all set to become a new destination for medical tourism. The Heath City and more corporate hospitals are going to be a part of the new city skyline. However, the junior medical staff which will man these hospitals will be drawn from central India, though the senior medical staff may be imported from elsewhere. It will be a basic requirement for all junior medical staff to be BLS/ACLS trained.
FOREIGN PASTURE ASPIRANTS:
It is recommended that medical graduates who wish to pursue clinical fields in US, UK, Europe or Australia undergo AHA certified BLS/ACLS training. These courses will make it easier to get through the UK PLAB part 2 exams.
